How to get back and forth between Epcot and DTD?

We wanted to take a break from our Epcot day to go to Downtown Disney and then come back later on for the parade and Illuminations. Is this possible? If so how should we go about this? Is it a hassle?

If you are near the Future World side, you should take the monorail to TTC and transfer to a bus to DTD.

If you are near World Showcase, You should exit out the International Gateway (between France and England), and walk to Disney's Beach Club. From there you can take the resort bus directly to DTD.

IIRC, there is no bus to DD from the TTC. Believe it was discontinued due to the number of off site guests using it.

It is also my understanding that there are no buses from DD to any of the other parks. Currently, there is a bus from MGM to PI (but no return route to MGM).

To get to DD from EPCOT, you would have to take a bus to one of the resorts and then wait for the bus to DD.

Carol is correct, there is NO bus from the TTC to DTD.

Your best bet would be to go through the International Gateway to one of the Epcot Resorts, and catch the bus from there. Simply reverse the process to get back.
