What more do I need to do?? I have my email registered on disney's sites disney world... disney shopping... disney movies.. etc, etc. - a couple different emails, actually. I have ordered the dvd - um, numerous times. what am I missing? Have never gotten a code.
Now... my sister joined us on our November trip - I booked their room - and bingo, she gets a code and has no intention of heading back to disney.
A friend of mine who i booked their room for our last trip - yep, she now got a code also.
Me... nothing. zilch, nada.
I have called to see if anything attached to my name - nope, nothing at all.
If they would send me a darn code - I would sooo be booking my next trip.

I wish I knew because we've never gotten one either and plan trips during the value times. We were able to get the 4/3 deal this year and that's the first promo we've been able to take advantage of.

Here's something to make you go UGH!

We bought our house in August 2004. The folks who owned it before us brought it brand new, owned it for 6 years and got married after buying the house.

So, last week a pin code came for the kids free promo in the prior owner's maiden name!!! She hasn't had that name for at least 10 years.

A woman I worked with went to WDW in October. She got the 40% off pin and just recently got the kids free pin.

So, the answer is - who knows????

We must belong to the same hard-luck club. We have been able to take advantage of the Sept. bounceback twice, but have never rec'd a pin code, email or snail mail. We sign up for everything, also. Everyone I signed up for the DVD...my son, my IL's, my boss, have gotten codes but not us. Go figure.

Who knows, really, but my best observation (based on only first-quality anecdotal evidence, of course) is that if you don't go for a while you may be more likely to get a PIN code.

In my case, for example, we go probably three times over the span of every two years and have always booked those trips using our home address. I have never received a PIN code at my home. A few years ago, however, I was at a convention at WDW and was booked at the BC through my office address. This is the only time I have booked a trip using my office address and I have received PIN code mailers at my office in each of the past two years.

It may have just been a coincidence, but I was on the WDW web site yesterday playing around with reservations, pricing out different resorts for our stay in Nov. I didn't book anything and a little box popped up asking why I didn't book and had a list of 10 or so reasons and then "other." I clicked "other" and I typed in, "Would like a pin code for November, please." Lo and behold, I got my very first pin code EVER today. Coincidence? I don't know.
