I have seen random comments that people found where "their unit" was from their deed at various resorts. Is there a map or something? Mine are 2 digit numbers with a letter, so not room numbers.

When they declare units, most of them contain more than one actual room.

For example, right now all the new points being sold at VGF come from Unit 11…which is 101 different rooms.

To find what the unit you own is made up of in terms of rooms, you have look up the plans which can be found on the OCC website…some are also in the POS.

This is fun and super frustrating. :faint: I can find where someone had their share of my BW unit repossessed, but not the document showing what this particular unit is.

I’ve never been good at finding things either.
I might get a migraine before I get the answers. I can find all the phases around my Poly phase, and I can get a hand full of BWV, but no luck at all figuring out the ones I want. I guess I lucked out by getting really high unit numbers so they are hidden.

And if anyone else gets curious and find themselves wanting to pull their hair out- if you own at the Polynesian and want to figure out where "your unit" is - document #20170438820 lists ALL of the documents that show phases. Each phase is a unit number.

You don't own a whole unit . There are hundreds of owners per unit/room.
DVC has always stated you own a door knob.

Actually, I think I own the container on the wall in the shower where they lock up the shampoo.
And wouldn't it be nice to know exactly which little shampoo container you own?

I was able to find the exact block of rooms at Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Polynesian, The boardwalk gave me a floor plan and a general idea of where it is along the tower but did not state which floor. It's not like I was going to drill a nameplate on the wall, But I'm totally putting a magnet on the fridge for the duration if we ever stay in "our rooms".
