I have your basic black suitcase and I want to paint Mickey's on them with fabric paint? Has anyone done this? Do you use stencil? I'm moderatlet crafty but can't necessarily draw freehand.

TIA

Elise

If you can't find a stencil, stop by Home Depot. In the paint section they have Mickey head shaped sample cards that you can trace around. Another idea is write your information on one and laminate it for a luggage tag.

I decorated mine with iron-on patches (Tink, of course), but I didn't iron them on just pinned them with safety pins.

I found a iron on patch at Wal-mart that I used on my suitcase.
I found an outline of a hidden mickey and cut the iron on patch out after tracing several "hidden mickey shapes" out.

Once I ironed them on, I went around then with matching glitter fabric paint.

The iron on patch was in the sewing area with notions.

You could use any iron on patch- probably even Iron on transfer paper.
