A Secret Shopper is a person hired by a company to evaluate customer service in the field. Many large corparations used them, MC Donald's, Home Depot just to name a few. My DH served as one for Home Depot for a short time and a very good friend served as one for MC D's. It let's the company know if more training is needed, if a individual is not suited for face to face customer service. They can also evaluate the store cleanliness, presentation of merchandise, plus many other issues.
No, I haven't experienced a CM who I thought needed to be reported. If I did, I certainly would. One came very close, but after chatting with him a few minutes and smiling a lot, he changed his attitude. I always give a person a chance, you never know what kind of a day they had.
