Does anyone know how to go about cancelling reservations for a cruise? I just looked online, and I didn't see a way to do it there, so I am wondering if I need to actually call. Also, is there a fee for cancelling or will I be able to get my whole deposit back.
Unfortunately, my sister is in despair and needs to borrow some funds right now, so I'm gonna have to cancel our cruise to help her out. :worried: She better be glad that I love her!! LOL.

It depends on how long until your cruise date. If you are far enough out, you should get all your money back. Call Disney 800 # from website or your TA, whoever you booked with. Good Luck!

If you far enough out from your cruise date you should be able to cancel with 100% refund.

Call DCL and cancel....not sure if you can do it online, but I would prefer to call DCL anyway to make sure it is cancelled and to ask any questions I may have.

Sorry you have to cancel...I am sure your sis appreciates it!!!

Wow, your sister is one lucky individual.

We are stewing right now because brother in law and wife sent everyone in the family birth announcements and pictures of our new nephew, everyone but us.... we have tried for years to stay involved with them, but have gotten tired of one way relationships - and this is the last straw.
BTW, we did send a gift - baby booties and a baby blanket - sorry, not a huge or expensive present, but DH just went back to work in January after being downsized and out of work for 9 months.

Sometimes I feel guilty because my sister has 6 kids, so I know that she needs all the help that she can get. My husband and I don't have any yet. I love her kids like they are my own, so I try my best to do everything that I can for them.
I can somewhat relate to how you feel about your b-i-l. I was never close to my in-laws. My husband has a brother and a sister who are both 13-15 years older than him, so they don't really have that much to do with us either, but that's okay with me.
I hope that my sister appreciates what I do for her. I'm not going to tell her that I had to cancel our cruise to help her though.
You know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, so I know that when we do get to sail with Disney again, it will be sweeter! :flower:

You are a great sister and I'm sure she appreciates your help and the fact that you aren't telling her about the cruise proves to me that you are a good person. A bad person would do it and complain about their loss.
I guess I am the same way, if I love you, there is nothing I won't do for you, sometimes to a fault. I always end up extending myself way too far for other people and feel completely drained.
And yes, when you do finally take the trip you will enjoy it all the more! Besides if you're anything like me, you wouldn't be able to enjoy having fun knowing that your sis is in need.... I would spend the time feeling guilty and worried.

UGA YOu are a great sibling....Truly great, I was just stewing over My sister's B'day today, and I called her anyway and left a Birthday message..

Okay, okay...That made me cry. I guess my big heart is also somewhat soft. What you said just re-affirmed that I am definitely making the right decision. Thank you! :)
