How to book ressies for a large group at the same time?

Hello,

My booking window is coming up soon and I'm in charge of making the dining ressies for our party of 8. We have our rooms booked seperately. How do I go about booking all of us at the same time?

If you are linked as family & friends on My Disney Experience you should be able to with no problem. I made our ADRs yesterday and we are on two separate packages but linked on MDE so each reservation, I was able to choose all of us.

Is there someone else in your group that can help? We had four people online for our 180 ADR day and got most of what we wanted for a party of six.

I did make one reservation for a party of eight as we might have additional family join us one night. I did not need to provide names for them.

I made ADR's for our group of 9 with no problems. I was online at 6 am CST and had my list of what ADR's I needed. I was able to get all the reservations I wanted at the exact times I wanted.

This is reassuring! I'm in charge of our party of 7, and it's Thanksgiving week. I'm nervous.

You don't have to have everyone linked. You can just make the reservations for however many you want. They don't ask you who's actually attending. Just how many. We have a group of 7 linked in our MDE but I had to make reservations for a group of 9. No issues at all (other than not being able to find times for that many lol)

I just made a reservation for 9 at 'Ohana and when I went through the process I did have to put down the names of everyone attending. If they weren't on my friends and family list, I just added them on the spot. It was super easy even though I had five that are staying on property and four that are visiting for the day.

Yes this too. Although I was a bit concerned when booking CRT and Hoop Dee Doo since the 4 of us are on the DDP but on 2 separate packages. I did want to make sure we were linked for those so that I could hold the ADR with credits and not pay for it upfront with my card. The system recognized that I had the dining plan on my package and the other 3 people on the adr had the dining plan on theirs so holding with dining credits was no issue. Never booked those online before.
