Should I call to double check my ADR confirmations? I booked them at the end of April for the end of September. Should I double check in August or at the beginning of September? Also, it is my DD B-day and I'm not sure if I should order the cake when we get there or before we leave. We just want to get a small 6" cake. What do you think?

I usually confirm two weeks before departure.

I've never considered confirming my ADRs. How important is this?

I never confirm my ADR's. I bring my confirm numbers with me, but have never had to show them...

I always call and confirm and also bring a copy of the #'s with me -you just never know when someone might hit a wrong key and wipe out everything!
