How soon do you think I will be able to get to HRH after debarkation?

We will be on the 3-day Wonder and will head to the Hard Rock Hotel, then Universal Studios. I need to set expectations for DD13, as to how much time we will have at Universal Studios that day.

If you disembark by 9:00 am you should be at HRH by 10:30 - 11:00. It is 45 minutes to Orlando from the port.

We did what iluvorlando suggested and were in the park before noon. Our room at the HRH was ready too so we dumped our luggage in the room and off we went. We had a full day in the park and had a lot of fun. Have a good time - you're going to love the HRH.

When you left the Wonder for HRH and were in the park by noon, did you find that you were able to do everything you wanted? We plan to do Universal Studios on our short day, then IOA the following day.

We did the exact same thing you are doing, Wonder to HRH. We got caught in a traffic jam and had to take a different route to the HRH and we were still in the parks by noon. Check-in at the HRH was a breeze and Universal is a very short walk, less than 5 minutes, from HRH. Don't forget that you will have frony of the line access at the park too. This allows you to do soooo much more. I think in order to do all the rides AND shows, the park will need to be open until 7 or 8 the day you are there. The park closed at 6pm the day we arrived so we didn't get to do everything. But we were there for 6 days so we weren't really trying. I think we actually left the park around 5pm that day to have dinner at the NASCAR Cafe.
