How soon do monorails start running?

Just got off the phone with a CM after making ressies 12/19 at 8 am for cChef Micky's. We're staying at the GF, but the CM says the monorails to the Contemporary from the GF don't run that early. Has this changed? I seem to remember that the monorails from the resorts start running BEFORE the ones from the TTC center to the park for the general public. Am I in la la land? Will we need to drive to CM's?

I would ask your question over on the transportation board. We have reservations for CM at 7:30. We are staying at the Polynesian so I was concerned about the same thing. Someone over there (the guru -- I can't remember his name) said that they start to the resorts before then so I wouldn't need to worry about it. Good luck!

The resort monorail starts running at 7:00 am. Disney Dining seems to give out a fair amount of goofy info. I don't think I'd trust them for anything other than making PSs.

we once had 7:45am ressies for Chef Mickey's. We were staying at the Polynesian. We got there with plenty of time to spare.
