Like Ryno, I love Dinosaur! at DAK because it was thrilling without being a roller coaster (I don’t like roller coasters). How does Kong compare in fear factor to Dinosaur!?

I think Kong is so much better. Very well done. Not scary at all. But my kids are teenagers. Not sure how younger kids would like it. Personally my kids would have loved it younger too.

My kids were very hyped for Kong the other week (it wasn't quite open last time we were there). There were technical issues so we ended up waiting 45 min which added to the anticipation. Neither one found it scary at all. My DS8 was like, that's it. We were underwhelmed.

Dinosaur I feel is the scarier ride easily. Kong is more action based and the screens, while good, aren't as immersive as being surrounded by scenery and animatronics. I agree that the queue line is scarier than the ride itself.

Other than the queue, the only thing really "scary" on the ride probably would be the various bugs you'd see in a couple of scenes perhaps. That's about it. Unless the sight of Kong and a T-Rex fighting might be scary to little kids? I don't know. Also, only one AA (on the ride) just breathes and roars so nothing scary about that other than if loud noises are too much for someone.

I would never ride Dinosaur again... I don't care if I'm with a group of friends, or family. And I never felt this way about any ride (no matter what park). To me it way too rough to enjoy at all. It is the worse simulator I've ever been on. And this is someone who loves simulators and never gets motion sickness. Just too much trashing and bashing for me to like. I heard that it was actually "toned down" since it opened and if that's what toned down is I would hate to know what it was like when it first opened. Also, not that scary for me personally (but is definitely scarier than Kong). I never been in so much pain after a ride.
