Is it as rough as say, Dinosaur?

I missed out on it the last trip because my husband hates motion simulators.
However, I am 5 months pregnant and since I can't do the roller coasters I want to check out all the rides he normally wouldn't go for.

I am inquiring more about the actualy movement than the simulated movement. I wouldn't do Dinosaur because I found the seatbelt would cut into my stomach quite a lot.

Thanks!

I didn't do it when I was 4 months and it's one of my faves. It does move around a lot and can really mess with your equilibrium.

It isn't rough, but the simulation isn't good so it does make me feel sick!

agreed not as rough as dino and never made me near as sick as the old body wars.... (as far as motion sickness goes)

There is a transport without motion, used for handicapped folk that can't be shaken. Ask a cm if it's available.

I concur with PP. Its not as bad as Dino, but it does make ME very dizzy. DD and her friends LOVE IT. I prefer to find the one kid in the group who doesn't want to ride it and wait with them :) I am even known to ENCOURAGE someone they don't want to ride it LOL Just for an excuse to not.

Ask to sit in the center of the middle row of seats. The closer to the corners, the more motion.

The ride's not too bad, as long as the TIE fighters don't find their mark.

That could ruin your day.

Dinosaur is a wheeled vehicle that runs on a track.

Star Tours is a simulator that does not actually go anywhere. It tips forward, back, left and right. If you get dizzy or scared, you can just close your eyes and that way you won't see the movie that makes it look like you are going through space.,

I get motion sickness really quickly. I did the ride, but kept my eyes closed most of the time. The room jerked you around alot, and I mean sharp jerks, like when the tracker beam is pulling you in. Of course, when we went, we got the front seats. Kids wanted to do again and again.

I am not sure I'd do it 5 months pregnant. Only thing I risked pregnant was flying from Pennsylvania to Alaska when I was at 7 months.

Congrats on your little one to be.
