How reliable is the bus transportation from Caribbean Beach?

I read in a guide they had poor bus service. We won't have a car for much of the trip so we'll be relying on the buses. Do they pretty much start to leave on time? Should get outside your hotel bus stop ahead of time? how often do they run? We are going in May.

We were there in December and had absolutely no problem at all with the buses. They came very regularly! I can't remember how often they ran because we really weren't on a schedule, but we never waited more than ten minutes for a bus to come. Since we really weren't worried about which bus we took (we only went to Epcot one day, and spent the rest of the time hanging out and touring resorts), we could play "bus roulette" and just get on whichever bus came first, and switch to a bus to our final destination at the next stop. We had a great time, and really enjoyed CBR!

We have been to CBR numerous times, and we have never had a problem with bus service.

I think the longest we waited was 20 mins and that was only once. We did have a problem at the Poly as we had gone there for dinner and after waiting 30 mins for a bus to DTD, we hired a cab with another couple.

Never EVER had a problem with bus service from CBR and we have stayed there for almost all of our stays since 2000!!! Longest wait we had was 20mins, due to the fact that the ECV spaces on the bus were taken so I wouldn't fit with my ECV!

Don't believe a word about transportation in any of those unofficial guides. (Actually, last I checked, even the Birnbaum Official guide had some errors. Looks like he needs some purple pants on his staff!! lol)

At any rate, buses run about every 15 minutes through CBR. More often as crowds warrant. Morning times, buses are dispatched dynamically, and start at different sections throughout the resort.
