Are there actual rules about noise or number of swimmers? I have a 2 and a 4 year that act like.....well a 2 and a 4 year old.

We have been going to the quiet pools since our DD was 18 mos old. She can swim easier w/ her swimmies w/ less people. I don't think people have a problem w/ younger kids in the quiet pool unless its late at night. And you being a concerned enough parent to ask says to me you won't have your young kids in the pool at midnight. Enjoy!! WDW was made for everyone including our younge ones. I think by "quiet" pool they mean no slide or theme. Have a great time!

We like to spend alot of time at the quiet pools because there are less older kids ;)
I think it is kinda expected that the quiet pools are for families with younger kids and they can all swim together.

My 11 yo DD gets a kick out of playing with/helping out the little ones.

It is just a more relaxed atmosphere.....even with 2 and 4 yr olds :D

I guess the term quiet pool generally means not a themed pool, but certainly not "quiet". The kids'll be fine in the pool. I just kinda hate when the unsupervised teens come out in the evening and toss a football around the pool. I must say though that I am more particular about my kids being loud in the quiet pool. For some reason they too are more mellow in the quiet pool, I guess they never questioned the term "quiet".

The quiet pools just mean not themed. They do tend to be quieter as there is less to do at them. At the CBR the main pool had water slides, water cannons, waterfalls, and so on. Needless to say the kids had a ball, laughing, squealing, and yelling. The quiet pool had nothing but a pool! So the kids there were much less subdued. I did see some volleyball going on and the kids were yelling and having a good time but that is certainly allowed. There isn't any rules for you to be quiet at them. Just don't go to the quiet pool expecting quiet and you will be fine. :D

no, there are definately no rules about being quiet. the quiet pools are only quieter because most people prefer to be at the themed pools, therefore much less people at the quiet pool!!!

I've always noticed that the quiet pools are for the most part very relaxing. I really like the one at the BWV! and they have a great hottub there too!
at the YC, I still would rather be at SAB!!! :)

Laura :)

7 days til WDW!!! yipeeeeeeeeeee :) :) :)
