Hello!

If I plan a trip to Universal in November of 2013 (Jersey week) how far in advance do I need to make reservations? Since there are so few on-site resorts as compared to Disney, do they fill up quickly?

thanks!

It really all depends!

The nice thing, however, is that you can book early, then modify your booking later if new prices come out. Of course you're out that deposit for that time, so that has to be taken into account, but it's simple to change things around later.

I do my quick and efficient (not obsessive or compulsive at all, LOL) checking here. You get to see all three resorts right there on one page.

Be sure to check with the code APH, to see if they release an AP rate. If so, then compare the cost of buying an AP (Preferred or above) for someone in the room vs just a ticket for that person, to see if the total cost makes more sense than a non-AP rate. (remember that the Preferred and Premium APs also get you discounts on merchandise and food)

usually the major holidays help fill up the onsite hotels.
christmas season and spring break/easter are the ones that come to mind.

when is jersey week?
what part of november does it fall?

crowds in the parks are during Tday period, the monday after Tday, starts the lower crowds in the parks.
