How pathetic is this?!?

My 3 yr old dd found our old DVC info VHS tape (from '99) and has insisted on watching it over and over and over (even making guests in our home watch it with her) for the past week, ever since we announced to the kids that we were going back to WDW next year and taking their aunt, uncle, cousins with us.

Mind you, we have oodles of disney tapes, the "Sing ALong" series at WDW and DL, etc., but she wants the DVC sales-pitch one because it shows BWV!

hmmmm. do you think DVC would send me an updated copy so she could look at VWL, BCV, and SSR too?

My kids like all the FREE tapes, go figure! They like the parks one , the cruise video, and even our tape on how to put up our above ground pool in the back yard video (how's that for excitement!) Oh well at least the price is right!

Who knew...I thought our kids were the only ones! I don't call it pathetic when they watch 'em - its after they go to bed and I do, and get teary! that has to be pathetic! OK, not the pool one LOL

I just watched our DVC and WDW free videos minutes ago. I like watching them too over and over. Yes, I guess it is pathetic. I like a little taste of "HOME" every once in awhile. I would get along well with your 3 year old!

And guess what TV channel is turned on as soon as we get to WDW? I almost have it memorized, even can match the voices with the names without looking. Now that is pathetic

That's not pathetic! I have a friend who's 14 year old son STILL watches the park video EVERYDAY from the time the plans are made until they make the trip. I must admit, I always like to watch the videos too. I like a little taste of home every now and then.

By the way, last year around April or May, there was a thread running on here about how many people watch the DVC channel in their room and there were many many who replied that they do.

What's neat is if you go to live365.com and sign up and do a search for Disney stations (two that I listen to frequently are Park Hopper Radio and Intercot Radio) along with the themepark ride songs they play, etc. they usually always have a DVC commercial (Disney in house version) or Zip-ah-dee-doo-dah tip for today commercial playing. I like to have it on while surfing the web. Try it!
