How old were you when you first rode a jet?

I think I was 20, it was a trip for work to Philadelphia for training, I had 5 others with me. Then the next trip wasn't until about 7 years later, another work trip. I didn't go to WDW until I was 34. I fly quite a bit now, I just got my FF statement, I had 14 flights last year! 4 vacations to WDW, 1 business trip to Orlando (well, mostly business ;) ), 2 business trips to Hartford.

I was just an infant...and this was in 1961 when not many people flew anyway....seems like I have been flying all my life.. I don't really notice anymore :)

Twenty-five years ago on our first trip to Disney.

I was in my early 30's and had saved for years for the trip. There were the 6 of us. Me, DH and our four children. It was everyones first flight. Except my oldest DD who had flown twice before.

I was 11 years old, flew from Philly to North Carolina to visit relatives there.

I was 10 when I first flew from PI to USA. That was a loooong flight!! I flew many times to count!

DD4 her 4th in the air and DS7 his 4th also. All flight was to MCO. They are beginning to know MCO too well!! :teeth:

My first flight was when I was 5 y/o. My Mom took me to Paris, France. It was on Olympic Airlines (I don't even think they're still in business.) Many more flights followed over the years.

My DS was only 4 weeks old when we moved from Los Angeles to Detroit so he was a young little pilot!

I would prefer never to fly again.

First flight ever - I was about 20 yrs old and a friend flew us over to Disneyland (well, actually we landed at orange county airport) in a four seater plane (from Phoenix).

First airliner I was 21 or 22.

Both my kids flew for the first time when they were infants, less than a year.

my first jet I was 16, I went with a friend to south carolina. I'm 24 now and I've flown 4 other times. When I was alot younger, say 6 or 7, I flew on my uncle's tiny little 2 seater plane. that was a TON of fun, we flew over the NJ shore.

tricia.

...I jumped out of it! I was 21, my DW gave me sky-diving lessons for my b-day. Since then, I've taken many, many trips on airplanes and I've come down with the vast majority of them. ::yes::

I was 4 years old...and appropriately, it was to my first trip to Disneyland!

My DS6 was 6 weeks old.

DS2 was 4 months old.

I've flown in 5 person airplanes twice- thought nothing of it at the time (I was 14 and 15)...now the thought of it is kind of scary! My good friend's Dad had his pilot's license and flew us to Disneyland for her birthday both years. Yes, they were loaded- he was a dentist. For my 16th birthday I think I got a stereo. She got a plane trip to Disneyland, staying at the Disneyland Hotel! At least I got to share in the fun!

I was 9 and I was going to Texas to visit and aunt and then we flew to Florida to go to WDW!

My DH's first flight was at 18 went he joined the military.

DS's first flight was at 4 months, he flew round trip from Italy to NY. He is now 7-1/2 and has been across the Atlantic ocean 10 times. In addition to that he has flown to WDW 3 times and flew to London. So at a very young age he is well traveled.

I had to think about that a few seconds. LOL! I was 19. Two of my friends and I flew to the Domincan Republic. We had a GREAT time!! :) I think my DH had been flying forever...LOL! I really don't know when he first flew. DS...can I count when I was pregnant? LOL! Geeez...that was for DH's funeral. Then in 1994 he actually flew for Mom's funeral. :(

19 & I went to New Zealand;)
