How old were you when you bought your first house?

I was 25 and dh was 27.... we got very lucky. Houses around here have gotten VERY expensive. Only 3 years later our house is worth more then double what we paid.

I bought a condo at 18, but we did not buy a house untill I was 29. We moved a lot and lived in Canada so we could not buy sooner.

27 (will be 28 this year) and i don't own yet.

my parents were 34 when they bought there first place. if we don't buy this year it will be at least a 5 year wait for us, so we will be "old" fors time homeowners, i guess.

Well, we don't close until May 24th (knock on wood). I will be 6 days shy of 23 and my partner will be 3 months shy of 22.

I have a couple of friends my age 22,23,24 that have purchased homes.
