How old were you when you bought your first house?

24/27, Marie and I. We both lived at home with our folks, got married in '71, bought the house, moved in, still in the same one today, and still married, LOL. Neither of us really know what it is like to move, LOL.

I was 25 when the offer went in and construction started and 26 when we closed and the house was finished. DH was 34 during construction and 35 at the closing. That was 2001-2002.

My DH owned a home when we were married although we never lived in it, we rented it out. We purchased our first "together" home when I was 22 and DH was 26.

As other posters our home actually doubled in value between the time that our offer was accepted and we actually moved in

We were 24 when we bought the first house and 27 when we bought the second. We bought the second in August of 2005 and just found out our orders may change early and we are leaving in January. Sooo......at 27 we bought our first rental property.
