How old were you when you became a Parent?

DH and I were both 27. Married for 2 1/2 years but dated 8 years prior to marriage. This March is our 20th "dating" anniversary and in June...our 12th! DD's are 9 and 6

My first was born 3 days after my 31st birthday. (I was sorry he was late - I wanted me to be 30 since my mom was 60 and my grandma was 90 that year! I broke a tradition!) My second was born when I was 33.

I was 26 when DS was born. :)

I was 26 when DS was born. :)

26 with DS and 30 with DD.

I always remember how old I am by adding 30 years to DD's age. :D

I was 27 when DD was born... what a wonderful year!!!

I got pregnant with DD when I was 16, had her when I was 17.

Got married when I was 19 (NOT to DD's biological father)

Had DS when I was 21...and I'm still 21 :)

I'm glad I had them early. My parents were both REALLY old...okay, my mom wasn't THAT old. She was 34 and my dad was 53 when I was born. My mom was able to do some fun things with us when I was little but my dad was always "too old" to do fun things. So I didn't want my kids to be thinking that I was too old to do anything with them.

I was 26 when DD was born (DH was 30), she'll be five in a week and a half. I turned 27 two and a half months after she was born.

I just had DS this past July and I am 31 (DH was 35, just had a birthday last week).

Our 7th anniversay was just last week as well. And we've been a couple for 13 years on October 16th.

I was 29 years, 5 months and 15 days (to be exact). DH was 30 years old and we were married almost 10 years when we had him. WIll celebrate our 16th anniversary next friday.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

I was 20 when I had my first DD (sydally9367). It was tough being a young parent. But the dividends are great now. I'm a young grandparent !!! Yipee !!!

24. I was actually due on my 25th birthday but had DS 10 days early.
28 when I had my last.

I was 27 when my oldest was born, and I was 32 when the twins were born. I have a long way ahead of me...
