How old were you the first time you saw a "R" rated movie and what was it? I think I was 16. My mother took my friend and I to see Alien. It seemed really scary at the time!!

I saw Revenge of the Nerds when I was about 13 or so.

Im not sure but I want to say the first R rated movie I saw was either Risky Business or Purple Rain(Im guessing those are R). I was probably about 12.

I was either 15 or 16. I saw Friday the 13th and it scared the living daylights out of me!!!

I can remember when the rating system came out! Since I am almost 50 I am sure I had my children and I just don't remember!!!

Well, I saw Saturday Night Fever at 15,16(?) all I know was I was NOT old enough to be watching a few of those scenes. Especially in mixed company. I was pretty shocked and at the same time surprised at how mwny of the group I was with thought nothing of it. I do have a favorite line from the movie tho..( not trying to hijack the thread ) when Tony wants to walk Stephanie home and he says " I could walk you" all puppy-eyed, and she stops him cold and says "you shouldn'ta asked. You shoulda just done it" now that I'm WAY old enough to watch the movie, it's one of my fav's!

I was really young, I know that. The movie was "Bonnie and Clyde". I really liked it, even though I didn't understand the sexual inuendo or that they were the bad guys. I thought they were "cool".

I had to be about 12...no idea though. We always used to sneak into the PG-13 and R rated movies at the theater. When I went to travel camp we would frequently watch R rated movies on the Coach bus durring the trips. I was 13 and 14 at the time.

Never did any damage to me

My 1st R rated movie was Saturday Night Fever too Finfan. I was about 12. My mom let me go and boy was my dad mad when he found out that I went.

Halloween. I was 16 and my older sister took me. I don't think she was expecting the nudity because I remember her looking very uncomfortable when the soon-to-be-dead boyfriend and girlfriend started fooling around. I had actually heard that people did that sort of thing, so I wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as she was.
