How often (on average) do you head out to WDW??

We get two trips out of an AP and then look to go back ASAP. We have been averaging about one trip a year. We went twice two years ago.

Four times; May (Flower Festival), October (Food and Wine), December (Christmas Decor), and Late January /Early February (SuperBowl)!! Vero Beach in September.

Usually 3 times to WDW, once to HH and once to Vero. I really love the events that include the older musical groups (I am a child of the 60's), so I usually go in May and Oct. or Nov. And early December, if possible. Other choices are MLK holiday weekend, although it's been too cold the last couple of trips in January. My trips have become shorter of late, because I am a teacher and can't do the longer ones during my school year, and I just can't stand to do Disney anymore in the summer. I do HH in summer and Vero usually at Spring Break. I will retire in two years, so I will do longer trips then during the cooler/slower times at WDW. Can't wait!

Once a year for two weeks. We schedule the visits so we can get two visits on one AP. For instance this past summer we were in WDW July 11 - July 24, next summer June 25 - July 9.

Wow, thanks for all the responses, it's really great getting a handle on what the average experience is for DVC members. I know our family thought we were nuts going every year, but now I can tell them I'M BELOW AVERAGE for a DVC member! Ha!

We usually go for 10-11 days, so that pretty much wipes out our points right there. Maybe, after the majority of the home renovations are over, we should think about adding points...

We were just thinking about this last week. We average about 2-3 times a year. This year we've been twice. With me quitting my job to stay home with the girls, we'll do only once a year. Our next trip is in December 2005. What am I going to do with myself? Chase after a 6 month old

Some years it is once, and others it is 3 times. We usually buy APs and go 3 times during that 365 day period. Then we take just over 12 months off and start the AP thing all over again. That means we are going about 4 times in 2 years.

We didn't buy DVC until our "kids" were grown up, so we are usually taking either them and their significant others, or other family and friends. We haven't had a trip alone for quite awhile.

Pre-DVC we would go annually (10-14 days). Now with DVC, we are planning 2 times a year in a 2BRV for 7-10 days. Got to love your DVC!!!

Four the past four years (since joining DVC) we usually travel twice a year for 5 or 6 nights. Once a year to OKW and once a year to either Vero or HIlton Head. We tend to favor going to VERo vs Hilton Head.

We usually go at least once a year, however, this year we have two trips planned. Once in October for just DW and I to celebrate our anniversary.

Our second trip is during Christmas week for 4 nights with our DS for NYE.

Well since Dh and I have been together we have gone a total of 5 times. But that was 3 trips in 13 months and two trips in the last 10 months with another trip planned 3 months from now. Being we had our son (who was born with a pretty severe med condition) we took a hiatus of 3 years that we normally would not have taken but we were afraid to fly with him. BUT being he hasbeen a miracle we were able to visit WDW right after he turned 3. So I don't know how to average it. I figure we will proibably go twice in once year and once every other year. We will probably bank points and go on a II trip every now and then.
So I figure normally we will go like I said above 2x then 1x every other year with banking to go on a II trip every once in a while.

I think that our average for DVC resorts will be 3 trips a year.

We have just planned an addtional trip for a MNSSHP, (yippee, there was room at OKW!) for Oct. 3rd so this will be 4 trips, but we're hoping we'll be able to average at least 4 nights per trip in the future.
