Another case of lost points directly caused by SSR!

P.S. Unless the holding points have been previously banked, borrowed or transferred, they are transferrable, even SSR points!

too funny. I didn't know that they could be transferred... I guess I could make about $40 off them. Is it worth the trouble for $40? Thanks for the info, I just assumed they would have to be used by me. Do they go into a holding account in the new owners account?

Yes, they stay holding points, but take on the UY of the transferee.

It is not about making $40.00, it is about the bragging rights to: "I have never lost a DVC point!"

Heck, even if you had to pay someone to accept the transfer (LOL), it's worth the bragging rights!

P.S. How much do you want for 'em, I have a use for them!

I didnt know holding points could be transferred either. We had other threads regarding this issue and no one ever mentioned that before! Not even MS, and I was bugging the heck out of them trying to figure out a way to use those points!
I didnt want to borrow either so I let em go.

Well thats 2 BCV people that gave up BCV and Points! to stay at SSR. Go Figure! Hear that B3? The tide may be changing! We had a great time and the better mattress was worth the 5 points! LOL!

We lost five points one year. DH is in the military, and while he's supposed to get 30 days leave a year, it never works out that way. We weren't able to schedule anything to make use of those last points.
