How often has your room been dirty at check in?

While we don't have problems with housekeeping, I would like to answer the last poster by saying I think customer service is down all over the country. Part of the problem is that folks don't really want to "work"! They want to have the job be as easy as possible. I will say I have observed many housekeepers at OKW, and I have never seen one lounging around!

It seems as if most people are more than satisfied with the cleanliness of their rooms.

I'm not surprised at all.

Yeah! Finally I can vote because we were there. Our studio was spotless, the bathtub sparkled, lots of plastic utensils, paper plates, it was better than we imagined. We were in a lock-off studio, 3503.

I've been a member since 1993 and, for the record, I've ALWAYS found my room clean.

I've stayed in DVC accommodations approximately 10 times... I voted 1-10% for one clump of hair in one bathroom.

It wasn't the worst thing in the universe but it wasn't 100% for clean rooms, either.

Hello - I was really nervous after hearing so many poor experiences with mousekeeping. especially at the BCV. I called Jackie L. at DVC about this, and she said they had few complaints. Anyway, I just returned after a week at BCV, and our 2br was very clean...no complaints at all. I had asked that a supervisor inspect our unit prior to check-in to avoid disappointment. We were bringing guests, and I didn't want to be embarrassed. When I checked in, the receptionist smiled and said "You have been preassigned by the manager to unit 158." I don't know if that means a hill of beans.

Anyway, bottom line was everything was fine...and I had the best vacation at WDW ever. Sandie
