how often do you wash your bedsheets/bath towels?

I use each towel twice before putting it in the laundry. I change the sheets every other week, but thankfully have three sets for each season (flannel for winter) so only need to wash them once a month, if that makes sense.

Sheets are every other day. The thought of sleeping on all the dead skin cells, dust mits, dander, hair, sweat, dirt and oil is just too much for me. *shudder* I shower every night before bed and I still can't manage more than 2 nights on the same sheets. I do regular laundry on one day and the next day I do the sheets for all 5 beds (mine/dh's and the 4 girls). I always have some form of laundry to do each day. As for towels they are used twice and then washed on bed linen days. We all shower daily. As for when dh and I are intimate...we put something down on the sheets so that it will not soil them. I have a couple crib size mattress pads folded by the bed but if we are at a hotel them we use a couple towels. I not longer have a period because I had a hysterectomy a few years ago but before I would sleep on a crib size mattress pad to make sure if there were any accidents it did not get on the sheets. Comforters/mattress pads/pillows are washed/sanitized every Saturday.

Sheets and towels once a week, but the towels get used only once.

Our area is increasing water usage charges, so I'll probably be keeping the sheets on the beds longer. It's just a habit for the weekly washing, not a real need as far as my family is concerned, so ok I just decided every 2 weeks for sheets. Yay, less laundry starting today!

Everyone's sheets once a week, towels after each use.

My dd is married and does the same thing.

Two of my ds' have graduated from college and are living in their own apartment. I shudder to think of how often they wash their sheets and towels!

Towels once a week, my mom does it the same way. Bed sheets....ummmm:rolleyes1 Let's not talk about it. My mom does hers once a week, though.

Sheets every week and towels every couple of days. I have two sets of sheets for every bed so I don't have to wash them right away.

All sheets get washed no less than once a week but more likely 2-3 times per week. That includes comforters etc. I collect the towels a few times a week. We always joke that I have the cleanest beds in the world.

Towels - we use them twice then wash.

Sheets - started out to be once and week and has morphed into every other week.

Bath towels get washed after 2 uses...

wash cloths....everyday

handtowels....everyday

sheets....a week sometimes 2 weeks. except for the baby...almost everyday.

I forgot to say that I do now wash DD's bedding twice a week. She has been having asthma problems and tested as allergic to dust mites--so we wash her stuff on hot lots to kill the little mites--but just hers and only for that reason.

don't forget to vacuum her bed too. We started doing that with DS9 and his asthma was much better after.

Towels - after each use, hand towel every 2-3 days.

sheets - every 2 weeks, except for DS9 (his are once a week) The boys have 2 sets of bunk beds that are positioned L shaped and it's a pain in the butt to make beds.

I change our bed every week.

I wash towels weekly or sooner if I think they need it.

DD's been doing her own laundry since she was 12 or 13. She probably does sheets every 2 wks or so (ick, ick, ick) and towels weekly.
She washes her clothes when she runs out, lol.

Our sheets get changed about once a week...sometimes more often if they need it. The ds' sheets get changed every two weeks or so.

Towels every 2-3 days. I don't care if they get a clean towel each time, as long as they aren't piled up in the floor; I use the same hair towel 2-3 days and hang it up to dry.

Wow, so many responses.

Our towels are single use. It's just too hot here and they don't dry fast enough and will smell by the next day.

Sheets are washed once a week, more if a kid spills something on them, or there's dirt on them.. I HATE stuff on my sheets, so usually its more. Probably more like twice a week I'll put on a fresh set of sheets. Washing once a month?!? Eeew, gross!! There must be sooo much grime and hair, and dead skin, bodily fluids and animal nastiness on them... Just.... eew.

Sheets are once every week or so.
Towels are once a week pretty consistently.
