How often do you mop your hardwood floor?

I vacuum mine with my wood floor vac about every 4-5 days. We have dogs...so hair builds up. We use the wood floor swiffer about every 1-2 weeks. They stay looking pretty good. I only use the dust mop thing about once a month to DUST under everything and around.

I don't think I have ever seen my mom mop our wood floor.
She vaccuums it though

I vacuum the living room and hall at least every other day, but we have 2 kids 2 dogs and 2 cats. Bedrooms get in 1-2 times a week.

The flooring in "old" part of the house just has wax on it, so it gets en-dust with a dust mop weekly and a barely damp mopping 2-3 times a yr. With spot cleanign as needed. I can't wait until Jul. We are having them sanded down and sealed with polyurethane while we are in FL.

The addition has polyurethane on it so it gets damp mopped weekly
