How often do you call to check for pin codes?

So - I'm gonna whine for a second. I am among the unlucky few who never get pin codes. EVER. I sign up for every Disney newsletter/offer/mailing list under the sun and never get emails for those either. I've saved trips, ordered maps, ordered the DVDs, listened to the DVC spiel...nada. It's really frustrating.

In reading the boards, I found that some people call in to the DRC to check for pin codes attached to their names. I've called a few times and nothing has been attached.

My question is - How often do you call the DRC to check for pin codes? I've called once every 2 weeks or so... but I don't want them to red flag me as someone who is totally annoying!

Just an FYI....I spoke with rep yesteday who said new pin codes were just added, I had one for free quick dining, which was perfect, because were are going first week of January, when the free dining is not available, and many of the value resorts are already booked, so I doubt there will be any other discounts for then. So call today!
I would think calling weekly would be fine....but I'm no pro!

I call 2x a day (for pins, AP availability, etc). Doesn't help.

I call when I am ready to book so this only happens once or twice a year.

What's odd is that they noticed the last PIN on record as being in 2004 (which I never got) yet they don't show the PIN that was sent to me last year. In fact, when I went to book with that PIN (last year), they took forever in pulling it up. I'm assuming there was some issue with the PIN and my name not being 'linked' although the email was clearly made out to me.

Only if I'm calling for something else. Then I'll ask if I have a pin code attached to my name.

Their phone system is a pain so I don't like calling anymore than I have to.

If I call with a request or about info I ask. I also call if someone on here said they were told they are going to drop. I will call today to see if I am on the list for the ones they are dropping tomorrow.
