How often do you call to check for a pin?

That says it all! I really am hoping for a pin but I don't want to keep calling. I keep imagining that they have a log listed under my name of how many times I call!

Yes I do think it will help, because it has. Last year I got a 40% off code which is better than the 30% discount code they were offering the public. In my experience the pin codes attached to your name can be better.

Where can I find the number to call and ask about a Pin? Right now I have a 25% discount, but hoping a Pin could get me more, provided I have one. Thanks!

I have never called either, I was lucky to have rec'd an email about the pin code last year, and I probably should have asked when I called to modify my reservation yesterday since I hear what you are saying about the posibility of having a 40% pin code.

I don't know . I think you can drive yourself crazy calling and calling and calling hoping that you *might* be put on a pin code list without receiving notice. Did you finally get the email or snail mail attached to the code you booked under? And yeah, I suspect they *do* have a record of how many times you have called looking for a better discount.

That is what used to drive me crazy. We would call and never a pin for us. We did have a CM tell us my SIL (who had traveled with us) had a code and let us book with it, even though she was not traveling.

We got a call the next day saying that the CM should not have done it but they were letting us keep it since she did.

We ended up buying DVC that year so never actually traveled and now we don't have to stress out about pins and discounts.

I called about once a week, from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Just after Christmas, I had a 40% off resort code. I absolutely believe that we got the code because we showed interest in getting one.
