How odd are you? --> Packing

What do you (or don't you) pack that might seem strange to most people?



We pack a photograph printer for our digital camer that prints off Post Cards of our pictures so we can mail them out while we are there.

We also put single servings of laundry soap into baggies so that we don't have to purchase it even though the first thing we do after settling in the room is head to Publix for groceries and supplies. That's weird, right?



We don't pack shampoo or soap and rely on Mickey to provide us with these items.

Well, DH has to sleep with a fan on so we pack one. Yeah, I know that there's a ceiling fan, but I don't like that one being on. He can use the small fan and block the air from me.

I pack my pillow, I cant sleep without it.

I pack a fan because everyone needs one to sleep, a body pillow, a huggie pillow. I also bring travel size Tide even though we have a rental car. I bring a power strip and I bring my own shampoo and conditioner (can't use Mickey ones - that's for the kids) and I also bring my own soap.

A night light. I plug it in the bathroom so that when I get up during the night I don't disturb my husband.

LOL, the laundry soap thing is sooooooooooo funny, wanna know why............ LOL, DH does the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear, I tell him how crazy he is........... but he does it anyway!!!!! I'm glad to know "we" aren't the only one's................


I have to bring my blanket.......... I have a quilt, DH bought for me when we had our baby........... years ago......... and I take it with me everywhere we go!!!! I can't sleep without it............ now is that wierd????


OH, just saw the shampoo one....... yep, me too!!!!

ALWAYS pack my MICKEY PILLOW,,and I bring DISNEY things to decorate room with!!!! Any first aide things you can think of ,,God forbid I have to leave the grounds to go buy something LOL....but I must say the PRINTER wins 100%

I pack a picture of my dog, I miss him too much otherwise.

Not me so much, but DM brings Lysol spray and wipes and decontaminates EVERYTHING in the room upon arrival. Probably a smart idea, but the sight of the bag of cleaning supplies always cracks me up

I also bring my own shampoo and conditioner, as well as soap. For some reason any soap other than the pink Dove makes my skin really dry

I'm a pack-a-holic...here are some of my things:

Kleenex (disney stuff is way too rough for my liking)

Shout Wipes

Lots of shoes (usually about 7 pairs)
All of my own shampoo etc (I always save the disney stuff, but never use it)

I pack chewing gum. I'm not a big gum chewer but I like to know that if I want it I can have it.

my pillow, blanket, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, sometimes my own towels.. they never have enough. I think that is pretty normal though

Chewing gum and hangers. There are NEVER enough hangers in the room. I pack laundry soap tablets. Much easier than putting soap in a baggie!

i packed laundry detergent too!! Im going with my mom, my stepdad and boyfriend but i feel like the mom packing all the necessities... (sorry if i dont use the DIS abbreviations)

other than that.. i think the only weird thing to me was that i packed a miniature shower poof.. =]

my 'cush' pillow, ya know those really some flouncey ones. I sleep with it between my knees at night to help my back and now I can't sleep with out it! aw:

Travel size duct tape.

Hey, you never know when you might need it.

It actually came in handy two times when we went on an Alaskan cruise. The airline broke my expensive, "will never break" suitcase and we had to use the tape to hold it together for our cruise. We also used it to help keep the curtains closed in our room.

I bring my own pillow, thermal blanket, hangers, clothes pins, beach towels, tool box with first aid stuff (I'm a nurse) laundry detergent, dish soap, clorox wipes. I never thought any of these things were weird.

Where do you get travel size duct tape--we always bring the big stuff.

My 15 year old son ALWAYS brings duct tape...a big roll of it.
