DisneyFans4,
Please tell me more about the GV rooms in the Hawaii building. I agree Concierge is very addicting! I'm afraid LV is too. I really want to try the GV on our next trip in October. I've always requested a LV close to the lounge but I'm afraid a GV close to the lounge would look out onto the staircase not garden/quiet pool. My kids will be 6, 5, 3 so I want to be reasonably close to the lounge. Will I be disapointed in a GV room? I went LV for the first time with a room only discount of 45% so the view was about $50 more per night but with the way they do the discounts now with the flat $ off the view is always $100/night. I just don't think I can justify that. It is my oldest who loves the view-won't go to sleep til she see the EWP and/or fireworks. I'm hoping since she'll be a bit older she'll be fine in the lounge or out on the beach.
Jason-you will LOVE-LOVE-LOVE the Poly! I stayed there for the first time in 2002 because I was 6 months pregnant and wanted a convenient location. I had stayed at lots of other resorts and like them all but LOVED the Poly. It is such a great escape from the parks and yet so close-can see the castle all lit up at night, hear the whistle on the MK train, the tiki torches, the music. ENJOY!
