If I were to buy resale at BWV at about 75 points, how much would anuall dues be?

Thank you so much!

2004 Dues at BWV were $4.25 per point.

75 points would have been $318.75.... about $26.56 per month.

say you buy at $78 per point plus $375 closing fee for a total of $83 per point after closing is factored.... divide that by 38 years remaining and ya get $2.184 + $4.25 = $6.43 for you annual cost of each point. Our recent trip to OKW took 40 points in a studio, which would have costed us a whopping $51.47 per nite at that price! You can't stay in a budget resort for that price!

Thank you! I guess it wouldn't be worth me buying into it for thast amount. We would only be going every 3 yrs if even that. It will be cheaper for me t rent points and be able to book many diufferent resorts at the 11 month window rather than stuck at one resort every year. Guess I'll be a forever renter!!

or get a really small contract like we are in the process of closing... a big ole 30 points at SSR!

However many points you need divided by three would still be cheaper than renting. Your costs would be pretty much fixed at the $6 to $7 dollar range for many, many years to come. Points rentals are usually $10 to $12 or so now - and I feel sure they will go up in the future a lot more than what the small dues increases would be.

If you needed 225 points each three years, your purchased points would have cost you 75 points x 6.59 anuual cost per point x 3 years = $1482.75.

Renting those 225 points will cost $2250 at $10 per or $2700 at $12 per point.

You could easily save $1000 or more each trip, and spread out the costs so that future trips aren't a big hit to the pocketbook all at once.

Of course that leads to more frequent trips, and wanting more points....
