I gained about 5 pounds. But the hard part for me was that we were gone not only for the cruise but we tacked on another week after we got off the cruise before we got home. And I seriously think I gained it AFTER we got off the cruise. I'm a picky eater and I didn't find that much that I really cared to eat. I didn't eat hardly anything on the dessert buffet night, I didn't eat much in the dining rooms because I didn't care for a lot of the food - ate mainly chicken and steak and no funky sauces or anything that would hold a lot of fat, didn't eat at the ice cream place except some fruit, ate maybe chicken fingers 3 times and most of those were a snack where I shared with my daughter. But I really ate badly after we got off the ship and had the next week going places.
Now my husband lost about, we think 10-15 pounds
. However, we found out a few weeks later that he had diabetes and that had a lot to do with the weight loss.
Now we also made sure we drank a lot of water and that helped a tremendous amount.
