How much weight...??

I gained about 5 pounds. But the hard part for me was that we were gone not only for the cruise but we tacked on another week after we got off the cruise before we got home. And I seriously think I gained it AFTER we got off the cruise. I'm a picky eater and I didn't find that much that I really cared to eat. I didn't eat hardly anything on the dessert buffet night, I didn't eat much in the dining rooms because I didn't care for a lot of the food - ate mainly chicken and steak and no funky sauces or anything that would hold a lot of fat, didn't eat at the ice cream place except some fruit, ate maybe chicken fingers 3 times and most of those were a snack where I shared with my daughter. But I really ate badly after we got off the ship and had the next week going places.

Now my husband lost about, we think 10-15 pounds :earseek: . However, we found out a few weeks later that he had diabetes and that had a lot to do with the weight loss.

Now we also made sure we drank a lot of water and that helped a tremendous amount.
 
I gained about 5 pounds, but as I've stated before, I don't think it was from what I ate. We ate when hungry, not just b/c we passed by food. I think every ounce I gained was from what I DRANK! It didn't dawn on me until I started tallying up one day...DCL drink prices are actually very reasonable, so I didn't think about it as much as I thought I would. I joked around that when I got back, my liver was going "help me, help me". I guess this is why I gave up alcohol for Lent this year ;)

Me too...I was more active than I normally am and came home with a weight lose. I took the stairs and swam and ate what ever I wanted to.
 
I figure it's the heat that keeps me from wanting to eat much - plus I do a lot more healthy eating (fruit!!!) and drink more water. Yes, with so much to see and do, we do walk a whole lot more than at home!

I gained 3 LBS, and ate a lot, but did not eat outside of meals, I just had everything I wanted during Breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as quite a few fruity drinks. I was very happy with that, it was well worth it.......
