We are staying of site and the car hire and all attraction tickets are paid for. Also 4 Character breakfasts and 4 dinner shows.
2 adults and 2 kids(5+3) for 14 nights is £2k enough to have a great time and not to worry about running out of $s???

Will the kid look like they might be "almost" 3, or "almost 4." You might get away with not having to pay for them. Not that I agree with this sort of thing you understand.

2K should be enough as long as you aren't regularly eating in expensive places, (not that you'll find many in Orlando) or hitting the shops hard. I always figure on £100 per day for the 4 of us for food and snacks, and we eat all of our meals out.

We (2 Adults 1 Child 9ys) stayed at the ASM last July. We also brought all tickets etc and spent around £1800.00. I think most of our money went on the food at the Hotel, as the time we got back from the parks we just wanted to crash out so we ate at their but the food is a bit of a rip off. Also we had the normal "Can I have this"!! We are going in October and staying off site and are budgeting for £1500.00 (again buying tickets before we go). At the end of the day take what you can and don't forget that magical Visa Card!!

Bekki,

I see you're going teice with one year. The opinion here seems to be that buying an annual pass might be cost effective.

Sorry sort of hijacked the thread.

I'll second that advice! If you are going twice within 12 months buying one annual pass which covers both trips will save you lots of $$$s, and give you the flexibility to visit the parks whenever you want.

Regards

Hi,

Yes I thought of that over the weekend. I've not got my tickets for October yet so I think I will be buying AP's. Where is the best place to get them from?

Thanks
Bekki

We are going next week (ooohh I like saying that...;) ) and we have two kids, age 3 and 4 and we're hoping to take £2000. All our tickets and car hire is paid for too.
Last couple of times I think we have taken around £1500, and although it was enough - giving us £100 per day, we were watching what we spent on souvenirs and things.

We're staying in a villa this time so don't think we'll spend as much on eating out this time either.

Cath:) :)

We generally take between 2.2 and 2.5 between the 4 of us and usually have enough for a last day splurge. In Oct we're taking 2.5 and with the dollar as it is right now hopefully we'll have a bigger splurge than ever.:)

hi hudsom
we stayed at the all star movies in 2001, (2 adults,2 kids)we took £2000 which was plenty for us,
and that was everything from eating out, kids wanting everything in sight(not that they are greedy)and doing lots of shopping
i also worried we weren't taking enough but honestly it was plenty, have a great trip:wave:
