How much snow is on the ground where you live?

About 7-8 inches and its suppose to snow more on Wed/Thursday.

I keep thinking its Feb and not Dec, we went straight from summer to winter

We've got over a foot. its enough that ds really cant walk easily in it as his feet go too deep. Today was the first day I took him out to even attempt it.

None. I live in the south so snow is a rare thing around here. That is fine by me as I don't like cold weather!

There's a few patches of snow that's less than an inch deep in the shade. Otherwise, it's completely gone.

Like Dan said, we have just under a foot here in the Chicago area. I can't remember the last time we've had snow like this before New Year's.

And we've only had one, (count 'em, just one!) day above freezing in the past 11 days Even that day was only barely above freezing for just a few hours. It's been the coldest December we've had here in many years.

My district was one of the few that stayed open. It was a pain sliding out of my driveway, but I'll be glad in the spring when everyone else is doing a makeup day and I still get my Easter break!!!
