I was just wondering how much more money do you spend with the dinner package instead of having a regular dinner at the same restaurant and head to the regular line for the Candleligth Processional?

If you normally would eat an appetizer, main course and dessert then the cost would be no more than usual. The cost of the package includes the tip as well.
Depending on when you are going, the wait for the Candlelight Processional can be long.
There are previous posts from people who got in line 45 minutes before the show but did not get in until the next show. So if you want to go without the package you may want to consider getting in line at least an hour before the start of the show.

Well, think about that:

The dinner at Le Cellier costs between U$ 15 and 25 per person.

The package with the same restaurant costs U$ 44, 00 per person.

The CP dinner package also includes non-alcoholic beverages.

And the Creme Brulee in Canada is delicious (sp) and the Cheddar cheese soup and the ..............

:p

I compared what I would be most likely to order at LeCellier for dinner. It came out to $42.99 (no tax or tip). If the CP price is $44 I figure I'm coming out just fine. I like not having to worry about it since it's paid for already and I have a better seat, with less waiting at CP. You can get a less expensive tier of restuarants. I ate at Garden Grill last year and it was just fine. We were going to eat there again for the package but since we wanted to eat at LeCellier anyway, figured we would kill two birds with one stone.

When I figured it out, we actually saved a few bucks, not to mention time. :sunny:

Our choice for the last few years has been Akershus in Norway. For 2 adults the total cost is $61.75 (including tax).

Figuring regular price on dinner at $19 per person, then adding a beverage, dessert, 15% gratuity and tax, the slight difference is negligible..depending on your beverage, you may be a $1 or so to the plus or minus.

Assuming the other two tiers of restaurants also average everything out for a "full meal", they are probably very close to the non-CP pkg price as well.

I think it is worth it for the seating, but be aware, even with the package, a line forms about 30 minutes prior to entering the theater.
