How much is your Disney Vacation?

For Me, DH, & DS13, our current trip for next week is as follows:

RT Nonstop Airfare for 3 from IND = $410
1 night hotel stay and 9 days parking @ Staybridge Suites Indianapolis = $87
9 days car rental = $183
2 nights @ Comfort Suites LBV = $50
1 week stay @ Bonnet Creek = $500
3 Park Tickes w/Water Park Fun Option = $803

Total without Food: $2,033

I have the Orlando entertainment book and it has tons of food coupons plus I also have a couple of certificates from restaurant.com. When I go cash in my change that I've been saving next week I'm sure that it will be more than enough to cover our food expenses. I'm so happy that we did not put anything on credit cards this year. :yay:

hey 1 week and 3 days for us too!!

Our trips are all over the place depending on the length of stay, if we fly, if we pay OOP for hotel, etc.

We are DVC members but do stay on cash sometimes for a few nights. We also do deluxe dining a lot which with the tips can get pricy. Also my DH is a shopper (especially at WDW) and often wants "something"- watch, clothes, golf stuff, etc while there.

Also this trip we are doing both the sunset and sunrise safari, possibily the MNSSHP, BBB, Pirate Experience, 2 kids clubs...the list goes on:rotfl:

Even with DVC and AP our trips are usually several thousands of dollars.

Question- is the Comfort Suites LBV $50 for both nights? If so, did you use priceline or hotwire? I need to book 2 nights before I can check in at my timeshare, and if I can get something under $30 a night I am not going to use our Marriott points. Thanks!

Yes, $50 tax incl. for 2 nights. I got a great deal through travelzoo.com. The hotel was having an anniversary special for $9.99 for the first night and $35 for each additional night. I see you won't be going for a few months so check travelzoo periodically for specials. I had booked previously with them for a $35 per nite special but cancelled and rebooked with the new offer and it saved me $30.

Our first trip was the most, about $3500 but that included 6 day park hoppers with no expiration for all 5 of us to get 2 trips out of them so it was an upfront cost for later savings and it was the first trip for me and the kids so dh wnet nuts on souveneirs and pics in the little shop in epcot, stuff like that. We stayed at SOG and only ate once or twice counter service in the park and drove down. The last trip and this coming up one are cheap. Hotel, food and $500 for the military tickets (we still have days left on our first tickets) we are go for 2-3 days but go more often kind of people. The one in June was about $1000, maybe a touch more and this one is about $500. I got a cheap hotel, we are doing 2 days (left over from the military tickets) maybe one counter service and gas to get there. No souveniers because we just went and are going to sea world for one day for free (military salute).Maybe add another $100 for the groceries I've brought on all the trips but that's it. We rarely eat in the park.
I think that this is going to be one of our cheaper trips. husband's on active duty in Iraq and will be home in Oct. Going Oct 16-20 to Pop century with free dining and one day tickets $790.00. his military ticket free ours will be $99.00 x 3 of us. driving will be about $200.00. I'm still trying to decide about Mickeys Very Scary tickets.

Our trip was 07/03-07/11. Two adults and two kids over age 9.
Stayed @ Wilderness Lodge with the Quick Service Dining Plan. Paid for Woods view, but we were upgraded for free to a courtyard view.
6 day Park Hopper tickets with Water Park add on.
Airfare from Dallas to Orlandao.
$5247.00 for the all of the above.
$748 in charges to our debit card for souvenirs, Wi-Fi, two OOP meals, etc.
$247 for four Tier One Spirit of Aloha tickets.
$40 (approximately) for food and drinks bought during airport layovers.
$80 for 9 days airport parking.

There's also the money that was spent on stuff to prepare for the trip- swimsuits, water shoes, ponchos, snacks, camera batteries, sunglasses, etc.

I try not to think about the total.

We are going in September and traveling from Canada - to adults and 17 and 13 year olds. This is probably our one time only trip (been to Disneyland a couple of times)

Flights $1950 Canadian
Room/tickets etc at POP (5 nights) $1652 US with "Free" Dining
2 Bedroom Condo and rental car (5 nights) $466 US
Parking Airport in Calgary $75 Can
Spending Money - $800?? US

Looks like between $5000 - $5300 with exchange (getting better every day!)

Looking forward to the experience and the memories (last year DD is home)

December 5th-December 11th:

Room @ POP, tickets, and DDP: $1373.09
+MVMCP tickets: $163.75
+$500 for extras (not including our Disney reward dollars we have been saving)
=$2036.84 as an estimate

This is what I orginally had booked for rooms only at WL and then decided to save some money!

9/26-10/3
Pop Century (but hoping for that free upgrade they keep offering!)
Free Dining
1 day base tickets
$810
AP's are already paid for as we've been 3 1/2 weeks already this year
Free parking with AP
Dining tips and oop food$200
Gas $120

Total = $1100 (I have $30 in VISA rewards to spend before I cancel the stupid card)

Just me and DD9 this trip and our grand total is $1000. Wow! Go me!

$1000 - 5 nights @ Pop, 5 day park hoppers, using DME, and free dining

$0000 - Used points on our credit card for free flights (would have been $358 for two round trips from Chicago)

$0000 - Getting rides to and from the airport at home.

Maybe $150 for tips and souvies (we aren't big souvie ppl!)

August trip (1 adults, 1 teenager):

160.00 gas

188.00 Park Tickets (using our Military freebies and companions for ALL Disneys/SeaWorld/Universals )

free shuttles to/from parks

$350.00 Hotel (Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista for 9 nights)

$500.00 Food [Arabian Nights w/ 25 gift cert, ADR at 3 WDW restaurants, 25 gift cert BB King, free daily breakfast at hotel]

So our total for just over a week is $1198. I think food is our biggest expense. Although we have free breakfast, we tend to throw away alot of food at theme parks. Have read the meals are like double portions so we are going to get one meal and split them (when we can).

We were there 8 days and 7 nights for $2678 TOTAL FAMILY OF 5 kids 10,8,6
I planned $2500 so not bad at all!!

INCLUDING EVERY LAST THING

...from Tour Guide Mike + Touring Plans memberships; the iron-ons we bought for the t-shirts I made; all gas and food to and from INDY; all souvenirs; PHOTOPASS preorder [using 15% off so $85], all dining while there [on and offsite] and:
