4 Nights at the Polynesian-Standard View, 4-Day Park Hoppers with extra water park day - $1661.38
2 R/T flights on Southwest - Used points. $36.20/each for Early Bird check in and taxes/fees - $72.40

About $1500 for food, tips, Memory Maker & Souvenirs. (I estimate high here so we're not afraid to order what we want. It is our anniversary, after all.)

Total will be approx $3235

April - 2 nights at Hard Rock and Universal Tix - $1300, 3 night Dream Cruise 1 Bed - Conci - $4000, 5 nights GF CL $4500, Air - $1500, Car -$300 - So all in give or take $12000
October - 2 nights at BCV and tix - $1500, 7 night Fantasy Cruise 1 Bed Conci - $11000, Air - $1500, Car - $300 - All in I would say $15000

$27k? Oh my *** did my wife talk me into? LOL

Just the Disney portion: (not including transportation there/hotel night before Disney at Drury Inn in Orlando)
$15,445, before I go to Target/Sam's Club to buy $15,000 worth of Disney Gift Cards so maybe $14,700 after all said and done.

9 adults (well 7 adults as two are aged 11 and 10), and 1 kid (aged 4).

Breakdown:
7 adults/1 kid staying at a 2BR Villa at Saratoga Springs (6 nights)
2 adults staying at All Star Sports (6 nights)
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan for all 10 (we love to eat and we love table service!)
6 day Park Hopper w/ Water Parks

Oh, and that doesn't include the power scooter my dad (78 yrs old) has to rent to go around the parks. This Disney segment of our trip is part of a 2 week trip along the East Coast.

Why did I think it would be a good idea to add this up??

4 nights mid-October including 2 weekend nights
2 garden wing rooms at Contemporary $2251
3 adults, 4 "disney adults" 1 child DDP $1875
3 5 day hoppers with 1 bonus visit (WP or DQ; probably won't need the 5th day, but these tickets aren't up-gradable) $1090
1 5 day hopper upgraded on prior trip to DVC gold (but upgrade wouldn't have been needed if not for this trip) $149
3 + child already had APs from 3 trips earlier in the AP year
7 adult 1 child DVC discounted MNSSHP tickets $600ish :scared:
8 wild africa trek $1800ish

airfare down is looking stupid at around $1784 for the 8 of us. With my luck, it will go up even more before I book it
airfare back is booked at 466.40 + 23020 SW points (4 @ $111 and 4 @ 5755 points and $5.60 each)

plus tips, souvenirs, airport parking, extras, etc. Yep, my calculator can't do that.
Making memories on what is probably our last "all the kids" trip to WDW....priceless

2 Adults at the Wilderness Lodge, 6 nights, 7 days, $4,226. We'll need two MNSSHP tickets. A car, round trip airfare. So if I get approved for my Southwest card in June, I'll be fine. I'm REALLY hoping for a discount on the hotel or free dining as the discounts haven't dropped yet. :/

My family of 7 staying at ASMu in a family suite. All but the baby are 10 and over. 7 day regular tickets and regular dining plan comes out to $7394.

I did save over $300 using SAMs and Target gift cards

Being a DVC member it is hard to say how much it is really costing me. I know my flight for the 2 of us is about $575 and the 4 day park hoppers were about $725ish. I purchased my TIW card last trip and that will still be good for this trip so I am planning on about $1000 on food and drinks. We are staying at the BWV and the normal price of the room is $415 per night and we are staying 7 nights. I look at it as I am paying about $2500 for the trip with all the out of pocket.

October 9-15, 2 adults and 1 child

3 round trip airline tickets (JetBlue) EWR to MCO: $930
6 nights – 1 bedroom Boardwalk Villa, Boardwalk view (points rented through David’s): $2,500
6 day park hoppers: $1,286
Garden Grocer: $150

Dec 2nd - 11th

Airfare - $600 (2 tickets Philly to Orlando)
Rental Car - $550 (Large SUV rental to fit all 6 of us; 10 days) mostly likely gonna split the cost

Port Orleans Riverside - $1,736 (King Bed for 8 nights)
Disney Dining Plan - $1,040
5 day base tickets (WDW) - $668

We can never seem to do things cheaply...

Going for 7 nights July 16-July 23 staying at Coronado SR. There's DH, me, DD14, DS16, DD19, DD27, and her BF. DD27 and BF live in Raleigh and we live in California so they will drive and pay for their own transportation, room, and park tickets. We are paying for 5 people and will probably end up paying for their food, so food for 7. After WDW, we are driving to Raleigh for 3 days.

  • Airfare from Calif for 5 = $2000
  • Parking at airport = $200
  • Hotel and WDW park tix for 5 people = $4080
  • Tickets to Universal for 2 days for 5 people = $550
  • Large rental car for 10 days = $750
  • WDW/Universal food = $2500 (we like to eat and eat well. This is $50 per person per day, which should cover $10 per person for breakfast and snacks, $15 per person for counter service meal, and $25 per person for dinner. Will probably be more once you take into account tax and tip and wine for me!)
  • Souvenirs and misc = $1000 ($20 per person per day)
  • Post WDW spending (Raleigh, etc for 3 days) = $1250

Total = $12300 for 5 people for a 10 day vacation (and I'm missing 4 days of work so that's another $1200 to take into account).

Trip dates June 22-25.
1 adult (me) and 1 child (DD age 10)
POR Royal Room Garden View
3-day Park Hopper
Regular DDP (1QS, 1TS, 1snack per day)
Memory Maker
$2397.10 (original cost was higher but reading these threads helped me upgrade to a garden view room and I still saved $170).

Flying SW using points so $23.00 for Security fees
Rental car using free day coupons for each day so $33 for Taxes

$400 worth of Disney Visa Rewards to use for souvenirs or extra stuff.
$100 cash for tolls and tips.

Not too shabby! :yay:

Our trip is just a month away, and it looks like it will come in right around $10K
  • 4 adults, 1 child, 1 infant

  • Park hoppers
  • Flights
  • Airport transfers (from home)
  • Food estimates - bought gift cards from Target to cover 8 ADRs plus a couple of counter service

HAPPY 35TH BIRTHDAY TO ME!! COME ON JULY!!!!!

DH, DD8, DS5 and me in July. 9 nights at Poly - Club Level, $4450. Annual Pass paid for last year, and used for 14 days in 2015. Airfare will probably be $1100, though I keep hoping it'll drop just a bit. I expect to spend about $1200 on food. Seems a bit much when I add it all up. But I'm really excited to stay at the Poly for the first time, and at Club Level for the first time.
