We have 3 trips planned for 2015!

I've taken the cost of our annual passes and divided it by 3 (me and my two daughters have those)

Trip #1 - 2 Adults, 1 Child
Port Orleans French Quarter Standard View
10 Days - Jan 27 - Feb 5
Round Trip Airline Tickets from Richmond to Orlando
Memory Maker
Cost - $2,365 + food & spending money

..........

Trip #2 - 2 Adults, 1 Child
Pop Century Preferred Pool View
5 days - May 13 - 18
Memory Maker
(free transportation -- following hubby along on his business trip!)
Cost - $1,685 + food & spending money

..........

Trip #3 - 4 Adults, 3 Children
Pop Century Preferred Pool View - 2 Rooms
2 days - August 6 - 8
Off Site Pool House
7 days - August 8 - 15
8-day base tickets for 4 (not counting the 3 of us who have APs!)
Memory Maker
Driving down from Virginia & Back
Cost - $4,360 + food & spending money

Okay, I'll play along! It's still in the planning stage, though (and I don't know if DH is going to come along, as my two girlfriends are going with their kids, one of whom is one of DD"s best friends, so it may end up being just me and DD along with one friend and her 2 kids and another friend and one of her kids, and we're likely all staying in the Epcot resorts area).

Airfare from BWI - it's too early to book (running like $500 right now on SW and no way I'm paying that much) - I'd estimate $700 for 2.
Deluxe room at the Swan - free on Starpoints (I have a ton of them).
Rental car for one day plus taxi back to airport - $100
Two park hopper tickets for the week - $700 or so
Dining - maybe about $500 but that's being generous (we do CS and maybe at most one sit down meal)
Grocery stop for snacks for the room - $150 or so

So roughly a bit over $2,000 or so.

If something good pops up for a rental at a studio or 1 bedroom at the BWV, I may switch and pay for the room so it would be more, but that's only if I find something last minute.

Late August stay.....

2 adults, 3 kids
10 nights Poly CL
8 day park hoppers for 4 (I have AP)
Approx. $4700

Will need $400 for gas and $$ for food/souveniers!

Can't wait to be back home at my poly ❤️

8 nights AoA Cars Suite June 19-27
2 adults, 1 child, 2 toddlers
Driving from GA

Room and 9 day MYW base tickets $4076.86
Insurance $155
Travel expenses (auto fuel, fast food) $300
Pirates and Pal Cruise $139 (Price was $161.89, but I used discount gift cards)
Birthday Cake for DH $125
CRT breakfast $0 (Will use Disney Visa rewards)
Groceries for snacks, milk, etc. $100
Food/alcohol (including 10 TS meals+tips) $2108.39
Extra Tips or Misc. $100
Landry's Cards $50
Souvenirs $50 (Gift cards at discount or Visa Rewards money)
Souvenirs for kids $25.75 (gift cards I bought at discount or rewards money)
Memory Maker $170
T-Rex gift cards ($100) $0 (used Discover cash back)

TOTAL $7400
(OR $185/person/night all inclusive)

I am putting this here because I want to see what I actually end up spending. I am hoping at least a small room discount will come out. Also, everything except the room and tickets are still estimates at this point.

The funny part is this is our last "cheap" trip because this is the last time we could go with a 9 year old and 2 2 year olds. :rotfl2:

To be fair, we don't go often (we actually don't go on ANY vacation often), so Disney is about a vacation experience not just visiting a theme park.

ETA: So I changed based on the new summer discount...our total is now down to $7400 from my $8000 original :)

Updating again: I think I'm going to upgrade my ticket to an AP and also buy TiW. This should cost about $418, but I'm thinking we'll save $218 on food (at least), so new total would be $7600. Then maybe I can convince DH to do an offsite "budget" trip early June 2016.

We just got back Sunday and we are already planning next years trip. What I can't figure out is it going to be better to do free dining if and when it comes out or try for room discount? Seasoned visitors, we are going to shoot for mid October, any thoughts on what our options will be? We stayed at CBR and want to try either POR or AoA..originally this past trip we were at POR but switched for free dining, just not sure if free dining was really our thing. Starting my savings account now lol!

:cool1: I figured it was time to start a new thread....based on that other favorite 'vacation 2014':cool1: Let's start the new year!
( I like to add 'soup to nuts' to get the total overall cost):)
I will start.... Right now plans are for January 2015 (end of month)
Myself and Ds2 and my Dsis share a room at AsMU for 4 nights (touring with other family) and then meet DH and DS1 and stay at Dolphin for 8 nights:thumbsup2
I have 5 day hoppers, I need to upgrade 2 tix to 10 day when we arrive
Dining will be OOP;)- have a set amount budgeted in
waiting to see if WDW has room discounts for then, but so far my total is :cheer2:2980.00-:cheer2: This breaks down overall to approx. 62.00 per person, per day.all in:dance3:
this includes parking at airport when DH comes down, plus dogsitting for that week. I may add more and visit Universal also, which will add quite a bit
Anyone else ready to do this?:beach:

I have quoted a few different possibilities for my *possible* trip. We are looking at August for 2 adults and three kids. Hotel and Tix will be around $3350. Airfare will be another $1100 ish and we'd budget about $1100 for food. This is for a 7 night trip with 7 day park hoppers. So grand total is about $5550

We've been there twice this year already and had a trip booked for December, but cancelled b/c we found out we are expecting baby #2 in February!!! So currently are next trip is planned for August 2015.

August 27th to Sept 7th
Booked standard view at the Polynesian Village for 3A and 1 infant with 7 day park hopper = $2824.21
Paying for dining OOP so estimating $1000 for food
Spending $ and expenses for trip down $1500
Grand Total = $5324.21

When I first saw this and was thinking "Ours is around $5,000 YIKES!!" it scared me! I'm really glad others are in a similar ball park haha.

We'll be staying at the end of Oct through early Nov and renting DVC points so our booking window isn't open. This will be our Disneymoon with neither of us having been to WDW before so we decided to "go big" (which is totally the opposite of our normal, sleep-on-a-friends-couch-trade-beer-for-tickets style of traveling).

Flights from Seattle... ~$750
Tickets w/PH&WM... $900
7 nights at BCV/BWV $1300
4 nights at AKV $800
Dining/F&W $3200

We aren't huge souvenir fans and I've budgeted way high ($20/person/stop) for Food and Wine festival so I'm praying that'll cover any nicknacks we want.

Laying it all out like this, we're closer to $7,000 :scared1:

I've been running numbers for my trip in October/November.

Oct 30 to Nov 8th
9 Nights, 2 adults, 5 day park pass plus dining: $2842.50
Parties: $400(just an estimate)
1 Day at Universal: $200

So right now, about $3500? But I haven't factored in flights. I'd like to find a deal or two. Maybe if free dining is available then, or a room discount? I have no friend working for Disney to help me with cost!
