Will pay for some of those with the $200 GC from the Disney Visa promotion and any points I accumulated this year. The rest OOP.

We are either going in Dec or Jan for 7 nights, eight days on property at AoA.

It is under 1800 to for AoA and tickets for two adults, one child.

We are not going with a dining plan but for mostly table service for lunch and dinner and eating bfast in our hotel room, food will run us about 1200 including tips.

We will do BBB and LoP for our daughter, she will get a few souvies, we don't really care for any so I would say a grand total of

3500 including gas to get there and back (eight hour drive), we stay two nights offsite for out travel day and day we leave (free cause of Hubby's points) and I already included the food for those two days in the total.

Staying 2-19 September (17 nights)

We booked with Virgin so everything is inclusive of the price:
17 night POR
14 days ultimate ticket (park hopper/waterparks)
Quick service dining plan
Flights from London (premium cabin)
Executive lounge at Gatwick
Transfers to/from airport US side (lifts from family in the UK)

Total: £4400 (roughly $6500)

We'll be paying for one meal a day, so maybe another $2000?

Not too bad? Considering the flight upgrades and long stay....

We have travel insurance included with our bank account, so no need to worry about that..

We are going November 6-12th

2 adults and 1 child

Staying at POR- Royal Guest Room

We got the MYW package that includes 6 day park hoppers- $2,479

This is without the DDP... We are adding it on later whether it is free or not so that price is going to go up if it is not free

We just booked our airfare last week which was very cheap!
$167 per person, round trip both flights non-stop! So glad I that I got such cheap airfare!

We added 2 nights so here is our new total

8/17 to 9/2
2 adults and 2 Disney kids for 17 days
Pop century standard view
8 day myw with Wp&f
Free quick service dining
Photopass plus added to our package
Total = 3315.00

Pop century standard view
For 2 nights before package =250.00

airfare non stop out of Manchester Nh 1200.00

TOTAL for 17 days 4765.00

Spending cash 1500-1700. I really shouldn't even spend most of that since last year we went 10 days and only spent 500.00. But we do have 4 TS meals this year along with PL reservations for the girls.
Going to legoland for the day but those tickets were a gift. I would really like to go to Universal for a day as well. My girls want to do HP but they aren't tall enough for most of the rides. So will stick with just Universal not IOA if we do go.

Just wondering where did you get free dining so soon, I have not seen it listed yet

I'm not the PP, but FD was offered as a BB from last year for the end of August.
Yes we booked Free dining BB the dates of the offer were 8/18 to 9/28 2013.

We are going next spring, probably April 26-May 4. It is our one and only trip to Florida, but we still need to keep it low budget and short. Which doesn't really seem possible :confused3

Disney World Package (Regular Dining Plan, 4 day base tickets, 4 nights at All Star Music): $2500
Flights: $1600
Universal Tickets: $600
Groceries/Food at Universal: $500
Orlando Hotel: $450
Rental Car: $250

Total: $5900

YIKES! :scared1:

We really, really, really want to keep it under $5000, preferably closer to $4000. But I cannot figure out a way to make that happen.

I read your post on saving during vacation, big hint go into town (Kissimmee) and away from the disney for groceries, look for Winn Dixie. Have you looked at promo codes for Enterprise car rental. look at near by airports for SW or Alligent. and at Disney codes, codes, codes. Universal has deals right now for 3 day passes for 139.00 adult, and 129.00 child on their website, these are park to park admissions. and from reading there is no use by date. Just trying to help.:)

I haven't read the whole thread yet.

We are staying offsite this time. We are staying at the Reunion resort in a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo. The price for the week is $650.00 But we are splitting this with my mom and her hubby. Tickets are costing us (me, DH, DD's and nephew) about $1760.
I'm estimating food and souvenirs will cost us $800. Gas will be about $300 and one night in a hotel about $100.
So
$350
$1760
$800
$300
$100
Total $3310

It's more than I was hoping but we are taking my 13 year old nephew, and he is a bottomless pit. :rotfl2: My mom will also help pay for his food. Thank goodness.

From that length of stay and airfare costs, they may be coming from foreign country, so maybe really loading up on clothes, etc. not available back at home (and even a domestic trip for 3 plus weeks may include some serious clothes shopping/visits to outlet/etc). And also, for a really long stay, I could see the appeal of the "extras" that could add up quickly - championship golfing/parasailing/boat rental/etc, and maybe even a day or two of granddaddy of extras - vip tour for 2k for a day of basically all access/backstage/exclusive guide.

We are living in Ireland and that price for the flight was got during a sale and I don't flying for 6/7 hours twice in a week so we stay for 3(sometimes 4) weeks. We shop at the premium outlets and the florida mall and the mall at melennia.I play golf at the Disney courses and places like falcons fire and OCN.I also forgot about renting a car and that's $1000 approx. We like to eat at places that we don't have at home like Tommy Bahamas,Capital grille,Brio,Cheesecake factory, longhorn,Charleys eat and that all adds up.we always do at least one VIP tour for about 9/10 hours and we also like taking tours like the KTTK and the Segway tour in Epcot which is unfortunately gone.We also spend 3/4 days at universal .This year I plan on driving up to Tampa early and go to Busch gardens and then go to a hockey game while my wife takes the kids to the afternoon tea in the GF

Think I replied early in the thread that I would not have a 2013 date but that has changed.

Extra spending Cash of approx $1000 ( to cover souvenirs, some extra snacks, etc). ( hope to bring most home.)

Also have approx $500 in cc rewards check from hubby's business credit card
And $200 is discounted target disney gift cards = oop cost $170 ( with my target tm discount and 5% debit discount)
And $200 in disney gift cards that were a gift to the grand kids from my parents.

I hope to only use the gift cards and the reward check as our extra spending money and bring home the majority of the $1000)

DH & I are going 09/08/13 - 09/14/13

Poly Garden View ~ $2882.

Dining OOP w/ V & A QVR ~ $1500

Driving w/hotel and food round trip ~ $500

Souveniers are included with the dining amount

Paid for with Disney Rewards card ~ -$1800

So out of pocket it will be $3,082

We're still collecting a few rewards, so will knock the price down a little bit.

Hopefully when a discount comes out it'll save another $576(20% discount) to $864(30% discount)

I love some of your prices! Going in OCt. We have myself, hubby and 3 kids (12,9 and 2 years old).
Flights $4500 and my 10 night, 7 day park tickets with a meal plan (1ts,1qs and snack) at POP is around $4350. I hope to get a discount at Disney to knock the price down or change to POR. To add on to our $8800 we need spending cash (as the 2 year old will need some meals bought), mnsshp tickets and tip money. I also need to pay for seats on the plane, buy Trip insurance and $25 per checked bag. The flights are a real killer on the price!

These are just estimates but for our 17 day trip, 2 adults and 3 children, age 17, 15 and 9:

Flights from London Gatwick~ $4000
17 nights car hire~ $600
6 nights at Reunion Resort in a 3 bedroom condo~ $900
11 nights at SSR (2 bedroom villa) with the Deluxe Dining Plan and 14 day park tickets~ $7000
MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets~ $600
Kennedy Space Centre tickets~ $200
Keys to the Kingdom tour for 3 people~ $210
Universal tickets~ $750

Total~ $14,260

It is an expensive holiday but we are saving up all we can. As we are from the UK we really feel obliged to stay for longer to justify the cost of airfare.
