How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

3 day Disney tickets
( we're doing other stuff the other days, including downtown Disney, and just relaxing and hanging out at the beautiful grand Floridian resort! )
No dining plan

RESORT STAY And TICKETS:
$7800.00

I've not calculated hotel stay the night before we fly out, air fare, spending money, ect...
I'm guessing, compared to other trips airfare will be roughly $1500 ( maybe not quite that high but I'm guessing on the high side)

Family of 4. DH, me and kids ages kids 7,9. Aug 17 - 25. 8 nights
Flights $1018 ( nonstop)
Hotel AoA LM room plus 6 day park tickets plus water parks $2406
Food budget $1000 (still praying for Free dining). I won't hesitate to change hotels for it either. NEED FREE DINING. :worship:


Total cost about $4400 not including souvenirs or other misc items.
Thinking an additional $600 for extras.

My mom is paying a portion of the room and for her ticket, I adjusted the amounts accordingly. She and I are driving down with the kids, my hubby is flying in a few days into the trip.

Gas: $320 (est using GasBuddy & comparing $ to last year)
Hotel on the Road: $200
AKL: $229
AoA: $1700
Tickets: $1241 (1 9 Day adult base, 1 6 Day adult base, 2 9 day child base)
Food: $1400 (OOP)
Souvenirs: $450 (Prebuy GC for me, DH, DS's)
Stroller Rental: $181 (2 single strollers, 10 day rental)
PhotoPass PreOrder: $120

I don't think I'm forgetting anything!
That would put our rough total at: $5841 - about $1800 more than last year, but that's because we squeezed in our trip right before our youngest turned 3 last year, the free child honeymoon period is over now!!!!

ETA: We have ressies at Tokyo Dining and Sci-Fi. Otherwise we eat CS or offsite. I'm estimating $1000ish for food. The kids bring their own spending $$ and DH and I don't buy souvies.

Wow I cannot imagine paying $20k for airfaire, maybe I'm just a cheapskate.

Really looking forward to our trip in December, because:

Flights: Zero (award trips from miles)
Lodging: Zero (staying at Bay Lake Tower on our DVC points)
Park Tickets: Zero (purchased an AP for our last trip that was just activated this January)

Sooooo, that pretty much just leaves food and souvenirs, but between TIW and the AP discounts, that ought to be fairly reasonable as well. Ought to be able to do the whole trip for under a grand.

2400 miles in gas = $400
4n cheap I-95 hotels = $300

I'm not counting on FD - but remember previous Xmas trips checking in on 12/22 and having FD...

I will use my DVR points to pay for the hopper which is about $250.
