We had a custom Disney wedding so ours was high. Not WAY over but over. In my defense I spent much less than I would have at home. My grandfather paid for most of it. He died about a year later. I was his only grandchild and was his princess. It was as much for him as it was for me, as he knew he'd never see my children. I think he was just grateful to have lived long enough to see my wedding. Financially it wasn't more than a drop in the bucket for him so I don't feel guilty of have any regrets about spending that much.
We paid for the honeymoon, the rehearsal dinner and our attire.

) and I am so grateful to my parents for all they did.
we wish we could have let her have a huge wedding, but we just didn't have the money. Looking back I wouldn't have changed anything, it brought us all close and she had a really fun wedding ( this was for 50 people ). And when they drove off all happy, we knew it was all payed for, and done !
