how much is laundry (not coin-op) on board

    i understand you can do a bag of laundry for some type of flat price-anyone recall how much it ran? the turn around time? any problems with lost items?

    FYI-Laundry service price list as of 4-05

    Regular service: Next day 5 p.m.
    Same day service: Add 50 % to dry cleaning surcharge. Picked up before 9 am, returned 5 pm
    Express service: Add 100 % express cleaning surcharge. Call for pickup, returned in 3 hours.

    Pressing only service is 50% of Dry Cleaning price.

    No, you can't do the bag for a flat price, that would be great, but no.

    I can tell you however that having disney do your laundry on the ship is excellent. Everything comes back perfectly folded and pressed, tshirts, shorts, pajamas, everything. We have used it on both of our long cruises now. We take our favorite outfits and let disney freshen them up 1/2 way through the cruise. Definately better than lugging extra clothes, which we never wear anyway, because we like our favorites.

    think i will bring my laundry tabs along and do it myself-too expensive! i'm also hesitant to use their dry cleaning service, we used it a few years ago and they destroyed one peice and stained another. thats when i found out that the laundry on board is operated by a sub contractor and you have to deal with them sep. from the standard cruiseline staff (and they are not very responsive) :guilty:
