How much Ink?

Dh is worrying about how much ink I will have to burn through for the shirts I want to make. How many t-shirts do you usually make with one ink cartridge? Do you think I can make 9 shirts, that have the mickey/minnie name badge on the front and a stick family design on the back, with 1 color and 1 black cartridge?

I've made 5 solid mickey heads (all black) with colored writing and about 6 other misc. shirts, all with my printer settings set on BEST and I only used one of each.

If I remember in Dec I made 20 shirts and used 2 colored and 1 black .
(I have a HP printer)

I've made about 15 or so shirts and it's not even used 1/4 of my ink cartridges (HP brand).

Thanks Gals! I have a Canon and HP printer, so maybe I will use a little of both. LOL

I am going to go to walmart tomorrow to pick up my 2 oldest new backpacks for school and I will look again for the transfers. Are they usually with the craft/fabric area or with the other printer/office papers?

At Walmart they are with the office supplies.
