How much have you saved w/ codes,pins or aaa???

First timer booking with AAA. Just made the reservation today. Savings of nearly $500 ($488, I think) on a 5 night package. I was pretty pleased. Well worth the $60 I paid to join AAA!

With the free dining I saved $1200. Usually with previous discounts I've saved 80-100$ per night on a deluxe room.

Free Dining last year we saved $234
AAA we always save 15-20% which is $40-100 a trip
E-mail Codes - For POFQ in 2005 we saved $240 for a 6 night trip, AKL in 2004 we saved $205 on a 4 night stay, and in 2002 we got a postcard which we used on a 4 night stay but I can't remember what it was, like $72 a night at values during June???

This March/April we were booked at POP and then a month before our trip I got an e-mail for a free upgrade to SSR or OKW. We were then booked for a studio at OKW, but when we got there we were further upgraded to a 1 bedroom. Considering it was peak season, we did the math from what we paid to what we would've paid just as resort guests and then renting DVC points and here's what we came up with: at $10 a point, we would have paid $435 a night renting points, and at the resort rate would've paid $485 a night. We only paid $130 a night! That's a $305-$355 a night savings!!!! I was having a hard time paying $130 for POP because we normally go during value season and stay at values for $69-$80 a night. But DH was skating in the inline marathon, so we had to go during Spring Break. Didn't feel so bad paying that $130 for OKW! Oh, and we fell in love with OKW, too!!!! We know we'll be renting points here in the future when we take our kiddo.

Last year, $1100 with free dining. May, 40% AKL and WL through travelocity. This September, $1700 with a pin code at Poly.

We are saving about $500 on our Poly 7-night stay by booking thru AAA.

I saved $63 on 5 nights at POR this October. But that is on top of the 15% AAA discounted rate I already had. Plus, I am still hoping for a great AP rate!
