Hi Everyone,

I'm not getting married at WDW but will be on my honeymoon and my DF and I decided to book a couple of photo session - I just want to look good in them any chance that I could get hair and makeup done at WDW?

TIA,

Jodi

Of course there is!! Just give Disney Cosmetology a call. They do not just cater to weddings. They also do conventions and all the make-up and hair for any commercials filmed on-site. The cost for hair and make-up is about $100.00.
Here is the number 407-827-4953.

i got married off-site, but still used disney for my hair! (i did my own make-up...we were on a tight budget!)

she came to my room and i think it was about $40-45, but i tipped her $15-20...so i think i paid a total of about $60 for my hair. that was back in 2002...not sure of the exact prices now.

have fun!

As I always seem to have my planning kit in front of me these days...I have this information for you!
Ladies Hairstyling - $80
Wedding makeup application - $65
Trial run appointments - as above
Bridal photo cosmetology - $200 for both hair and makeup services - for photo shoots at MK (services performed between the hours of 12am -7am).

Hair services require clean dry hair .

Hope this helps :earsgirl:

It does - Thank you....I just contacted them also! I can't wait to go for my honeymoon. :)

Is it $80 per person? Like, if I had my bridesmaid's hair done? What about the flower girls???

Wow. They've increased their prices. :earseek:

How do I get in touch with Cosmetology? I'd like to arrange to have mine and my bridesmaid's hair done.

RJ

Thanks Kerri - shows how much attention I was paying :0)

I am getting married in 15 days, and I am paying $50 for hair and $45 for make-up. I also have 5 bridesmaids who are getting there hair done as well, and they are each paying $50.

Hope this helps

Thanks!

Keep in mind that depending upon when you contracted with Disney, you were quoted/promised 2004 pricing, as listed above. If you fall under the new pricing, then it is becuse you booked your wedding later.

This sheet that I was sent from Disney last week says these prices were revised 10/1/2004!!

That sounds about right. They changed thier pricing sometime in Oct or so. Disney usually allows those who had booked thier wedding prior to the price change to keep that pricing thru thier contract. They don't always do it that way, but for the most part, that seems to be thier policy.

Ok--so for those of you who do not want to 1) pay $80 for bridesmaids and flower girls hair-do's and 2) don't want them to pay that much....where do you get it done? Are there outside companies that will come do it?

I'm definitely going for Disney cosmetology - I've read great reviews - and I think their prices are great value considering I just received a price list for a local store here in the UK who wanted £200 for hair and make up - that's $360!!! Bridesmaids were $180.

My question is should I book direct with them now or put a request on my planning form which doesn't have to be in until 10 weeks before the wedding. (Although I may send mine in early just to make sure!)
