Just 24 days to go!!!!

I'm working on our final budget and was wondering about Souvenirs!! We're not planning on anything fancy, probably t-shirts and hats for the kids and I'm sure a few other things.

What's your budget for Souvenirs on your trip??

Kids are grown and we've been to WDW many, many times. I think I usually spend about $30 each trip. I probably get more Disney stuff from disneyshopping.com than I do when I'm in Florida.

I spend way too much, lol:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Pin trading is very fun but addictive and expensive.

for T-shirts, etc mabye $100?

the family budget for this coming up trip $500.
we like to shop, and our trips to WDW are far and few between, we plan and budget to live like royalty when we are there. :) :)

It depends, but probably in the neighborhood of $300 or so. I like to get stuff that I'll be able to use in everyday life (so it's like a little piece of "the magic" right there with me, as cheesy as that may seem ;) ), so some of my souvenirs have been a little costly (e.g. the Skagen watch I picked up on my May trip).

About 200 dollars or so. I also get things for the house and I love a couple of coffee mugs. We don't have a Disney store here and Disney shopping online costs an arm and a leg for shipping so I got to get my fix while I can. This year I'm bringing extra because I want a few of the Jim Shore figurines and maybe an Olszewski castle miniature :goodvibes.

try to budget in $200, anymore than that is way to much.

I'm guessing about $350 total for our family of 4 but ONLY because each of my kids have saved up almost $100 each (birthday money, allowance, etc. - they are 10 and 7) If I was paying out of pocket for their souvenirs, it would NOT be as much. This worked like a charm when we went on a cruise last Thanksgiving. No whining since it was their money!

My kids pirate:13 pirate:9 pirate:6 are getting waaaay more money than they need for Disney - about $150 each but it's all coming from their grandparents - it's their Christmas and birthday presents. But this is all their spending money - they are arcade junkies :sad2: I'm not giving them any money for the trip (mean mommy:rotfl: ). They also have to buy snacks out of their own money if they want over and above the 1 snack per day they get on the DDP and any drinks other than those that come with the meals or those I pick up from the supermarket (we're driving).

DH and I will probably spend less than $50 each on actual souvenirs.;)

Its just DH and I and last trip we spent about $600 on souvenirs, this time we are budgeting about $500. We go a little overboard. :wizard:

We budget $250-300 and spend right about that for our family of 5 (but the kids are 4, 2, and 9 mos, so they don't beg for much). :)

I probably spend about $100 or so. Since I've been going with the DBF, I no longer buy stuff for him. My twin nephews are infants, and last January we didn't know their sex, so I'm sure I'll buy for them this time but not much. Otherwise I don't really buy for anyone else, except a year ornament for my family, a year beach towel and photo album, a couple shot glasses for my collection, and maybe a year frame or so. Otherwise I'm pretty good with containing my urge to shop! I'm sure when the twins get a few years older I'll go hog wild, but not just yet.

I would say it depends on what you plan to buy. We have also tried to cut down and since next year with be our 5th year in a row, I am not expecting to buy many souveniers. We got pins off e-bay for trading, so hopefully we will only buy a few of those (DH is the problem, not DD).

We have also gone to having DD bring her own $$ for the things she wants to buy, which cuts down on her buying junk! We buy her a t-shirt and/or sweatshirt and 1 souvenier (we have veto power) and she has to buy any others with her own money that she has saved. Luckily her b-day and Christmas fall right before we are going so it works out good.

About $200-300 would be great. I'll make sure that everything are useful and also some stuff that I really want

DS saves about $100 to spend - mostly at Tatooine Traders! DH and I might spend $50-$75 each on a shirt and some other item, or maybe a little less.

I would say we spend about $100 on each of the kids. DD also likes to bring back a couple of under $10 items for her two BFF's. The only thing that I buy is a photo album with the year on it. So I would say about $250
