How much do you pay for gas where you live?

2.23 a gallon two towns away! DD friend came up from Ft. Myers last week and she said gas down there is about 2.85 a gallon.

I dunno.

I hate to pump gas. DH always makes sure the car is full. The first time I ever pumped gas I was 28 years old and now at 34 I can count the number of times I've done it on one hand.

It just occured to me this is not normal and is perhaps something I should add to the weird quirks thread!!!

Just got back from the gas station (I'm in FL) and I paid $2.47 too! AND, I was very excited to pay it! Now that I'm seeing $2 on this thread, I'm not as happy as I was!

For once gas prices are falling around here- saw it at about $2.29 the other day at the cheapo gas station. It was 2.43 when I pumped up just a week ago, so that's definitely a nice change!
