How much do you pay for gas where you live?

Just saw 2.27 on the way home tonight. That's the lowest it's been in months.

I saw 2.18 today. Dh saw 1.99 today. But here in my island town you will still pay 2.35

Last night on the news in Boston there was a fuss about a station north of the City that was at $1.97

We live in Canada and we have litres which it is 95.7 cents per litre and it takes 3.79 litres to make 1 US gallons----It was $1.20 a litre which is $4.55 per gallon so we're glad the price has gone down but yeah, its definately not cheap to drive a vehicle up here!

The cheapest I saw today was 2.19 gal. I thought that was low until I read some other parts of the country. I live in Tx and we usually are one of the lowest price states for gas...

Just got back from the gas station (I'm in FL) and I paid $2.47 too! AND, I was very excited to pay it! Now that I'm seeing $2 on this thread, I'm not as happy as I was!

I think we're paying higher than others because we are in the Hurricane-ravaged zone.

Here in DC it's $2.58 at almost every gas station. We usually drive to VA for gas since it's cheaper there, though right now it's only about $2.50 so not much of a deal (usually it's more like 20 cents lower). It's funny cause last week there was an article in the Washington Post about Exxon/Mobil making a $9 billion profit last quarter (or something like that) and the next day gas went from $2.98 down to $2.78, then $2.68 the next day, then $2.63, then down to the $2.58 that it is now. Funny how right after that article went out they got a less expensive shipment of gas in!

DH paid $2.13 yesteday and I passed a station (WaWa) that was $2.11.

We got gas last night at Costco's and paid $2.21.9, yeah, just hope the downward trend continues.
Some of our Stop & Shop grocery chains have the coupons to save an extra 20 cents per gallon so that makes it a bit cheaper than $2.21. Any little bit helps.

It's really come down this week here! We are down to $2.499. It's been $2.899 for a really long time. Of course, that wasn't the highest price we saw...

I like to drive up and over the VA border which isn't too far. They are usually 20 cents a gallon cheaper.
