It was now time to eat and we were hungry. We were having dinner here for the first time in over 12 years (I went for lunch with Mary and the girls in January):
Loved the door:
The lobby:
Mark went to the men's room while I checked in. I did ask for a table by the glass so we'd have a good view. We didn't get right up against the glass, but one table away and it was perfect.
Mark had an iced tea:
And I had a Pina Colada:
The bread they bring out (this was very yummy and we ate it quickly and our waiter brought us more):
Some fishie pictures:
I went with an appetizer and a salad. I had the crab cake appetizer and the cesasar salad:
Both were excellent. The only thing I didn't like about the crab cakes was the sauce on top was a little too "hot" for me.
Mark ordered the fish of the day (and I have no idea what it was...to me, fish is fish most of the time):
He let me taste it and it just melted in your mouth...it was scrumptious.
We both had saved room for dessert, even with the extra bread:
I had the Chocolate Wave...heaven on a plate.
I'm not sure what Mark had, but I can tell you he devoured it:
After taking care of the check and making a pit stop (bathroom for those of you who need it spelled out), we were off to browse Mousegears until our Soarin' fastpasses were good. A few pictures of our favorite fountain along the way:
A few pictures on the "back" side of Spaceship Earth:
Mark wanted to prove again that THE BEVERLY was not so bad:
Seriously, I don't know how he drinks it and actually says it's okay.
It was time to Soar!!!
By the time we had soared, we realized we were exhausted. It had been a long day starting at the very hot AK. We decided to head back to the resort so we would be well rested for Day 3.
A picture of "Grandpa's Ball" (this is what the kids always call Spaceship Earth in honor of my dad) all lit up:
We waited maybe five minutes for a bus (after the long hike to get to the buses at Epcot

) and were "home" very soon after that.
Up next, Day 3 at the parks.
